Dee's Health Bread

"Whole wheat bread with sunflower seeds, cracked wheat, and honey."

Ingredients :

  • 2 tablespoons energetic dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1/2 cup heat water

  • 1/four cup molasses

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • four teaspoons salt
  • 4 cups bread flour

Instructions :

Prep : Cook : 72M Ready in :
  • In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in half cup heat water. In a massive bowl, blend last three 1/2 cups warm water, honey, molasses, oil, eggs and lemon juice. Mix properly. Add yeast mixture and stir.
  • Gradually add 5 cups entire wheat flour beating well after every addition. Add the flax, cracked wheat and sunflower seeds, stir nicely.
  • Let stand for 20 minutes, until aggregate may be very mild. Stir in salt and the rest of the flours till dough pulls far from the sides of the bowl.
  • Knead 10 to fifteen minutes till dough is smooth and elastic. Put into a greased bowl and cowl, permit rise in the oven with mild on till doubled, approximately 1 hour.
  • Punch down and shape into 6 spherical balls. Cover and let rest for 20 mins.
  • Form into loaves and let upward thrust protected in oven until doubled. Bake at 375 degrees F (one hundred ninety degrees C) 25-35 mins.
